4. Contribute (By playing OR financially)

Chess SA Rating Procedure

1. Play in a Chess SA Rated Tournament (OTB or Online)

2. The results will be uploaded onto the Chess SA Website

3. Generally the files get "released" over weekends by Chess SA (Usually on Sundays)

4. New members will get a Chess SA ID and tournaments will reflect on the players' profiles

5. Ratings will be updated once a month (Usually the last day of the month)

6. A minimum of 10 games must be played to generate a Rating (So play at least 2 or 3 tournaments)

7. You are now a Chess SA player with a Rating.
